السلام عليكم

Salam!

Welcome to my personal homepage. My name is Anas Almadani and I am proud Emarati born and raised in Dubai. I was always interested in writing both in Arabic and English. I always wanted to publish my own book, and that is why i decided to start blogging. This might be a small step towards achieving my little dream. I will be blogging about anything, my country, business, sports and so on. The one subject that I will probably not blog about much is politics although it is sometimes tempting and easy to blog about. I simply do not like politics.

I will be using simple language in most of my posts. I sometimes do not understand why some writers use difficult language and vocabulary. Oh, and by the way, my posts will probably have tons of grammar and spelling mistakes. Also when I am expressing my opinion on some topics, please do not be offended. This is simply my view on certain topics. I will of course try my best not to hurt anyone’s feelings.

I will also have a page on poetry. Most if not all the posts will be Arabic Poetry. Some of these posts will be my humble attempts at writing Arabic poems. Other posts will include poetry by great Arab poets like Imam Al Shafei, Al Mutanabi, and Abu Al Ala’a Al Ma’arri. I was always amazed by how these great Arab poets were able to describe, their feelings, dreams and reality in a creative way

I am currently pursuing my MBA degree at Korea University in Seoul. So far it has been an interesting experience.

In my free time, i usually like to hang out with friends and family. Otherwise it is simply going to be football, football, and football.

Please feel free to subscribe and share this website and posts with friends.

Anas
